Melog - Mud Monster That Transforms into Beautiful Friend!
We're proud to introduce the second piece from our Customs of Power project, MELOG! This custom figure/doll brings to life a character from one of the most poignant episodes of the classic animated series, "Enemy with my Face." To represent the three phases of the character's metamorphosis, we've used a Barbarossa Art first: heat-activated color changing plastic! That's right, when you expose the doll to a steady source of heat, you can make her, "magically" transform from humanoid mud monster into a human! Further, to not ignore her monstrous original form, there is a separate figural piece which serves as a standalone figurine and can also serve as a shell into which the doll can be secured for role-playing transformations!
The mud monster has been sculpted from scratch in a style to fit in with the POP line yet also retain a monstrous look. Most POP figures can be secured into it for 'transforming' action. The POP doll has been sculpted over and modified to meet the design and action-feature as well.
This custom art piece comes to you mounted on a special oversized deluxe card with a double-bubble, making for an impressive two-pack -- a POP first! The Melog doll rests in a tray, just like the original with a replica comic (cover only) behind her.
