Citroën Tub Type HY chocolates Lanvin from Dijon in the Côte d'Or. The ambassador of good taste. The Lanvin family, originally from the Nord department of France, moved to the Côte d'Or in 1912. After the war, they resumed their business and were determined to take advantage of the economic expansion that was taking place. In order to modernise its vehicle fleet, it acquired a fleet of state-of-the-art delivery vehicles, including Citroën Type H vans, which travelled the length and breadth of France to deliver to the brand's points of sale. It was in 1935 that Pierre Lanvin had the idea of creating an original chocolate, inspired by one of Burgundy's culinary specialities, the snail. The product was difficult to create because it required a hinged mould to obtain two chocolate shells, set after being filled with praline.
